Local organisations
Most of our local Gosselin branches are a member of their own local move associations. For Belgium that's the BKV (Belgian Chamber of Movers), for example. For Italy, that's the AITI (Associations of Italian Moving Companies) or FIM (Federation of Italian Movers). In the UK, there's BAR (British Association of Movers). Their local recognized professional trade association for the moving and storage industry. And so on.
These represent the relocation industries and regulate the trade. Being a member of these organisations means you have to adhere to strict codes of conduct, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements. This is to ensure there's no "rogue" operators who can scam potential consumers.
The Belgian Chamber of Movers (CBD - BKV) vets companies and grants them an official label (Erkende Verhuizer - Accredited Mover) when they meet the requried standards. These labels can help consumers to find a trustworthy global moving partner.
Local Networking
Apart from those local moving assocations, there's also a lot of local networking opportunities. Think VOKA (Vlaams Netwerk van Ondernemingen), VIW (Vlamingen In de Wereld), Febetra, Amcham , and so on. Partaking in local sector-specific trade associatons is crucial to be an integrated player within the region's moving framework. Gosselin never lets an opportunity slip to connect with the local industry.

While local networking initiatives are important, Gosselin is a global player in the moving industry. Therefore, we often find ourselves across the Belgian borders to partake in networking events. We're a member of all the important organisations:
